1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the HerJoy Télésante website and telehealth platform, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

  • Services are available to residents of Quebec, Canada.
  • Patients must be 18 years or older (or accompanied by a parent/guardian for minors).
  • Telehealth is for non-urgent conditions only. In case of emergency (e.g., chest pain, severe shortness of breath, suicidal thoughts), call 911 immediately.

3. Services Provided

HerJoy offers:

  • Virtual mental health and physical health consultations.
  • Prescription renewals.
  • Specialist referrals.
  • Nursing and home care services.
  • Medical forms and leave-of-absence notes.
  • Services are delivered exclusively by licensed Nurse Practitioners and registered nurses, as per Quebec regulations.

4. Use of AI in Consultations:

  • During your consultation, Nurse Practitioners may use artificial intelligence tools to assist in documentation, clinical decision support, or treatment planning. These tools are strictly assistive technologies; they do not make independent medical decisions.
  • All diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatment recommendations remain the responsibility of the licensed healthcare provider.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Pricing is posted transparently on our website.
  • All payments must be made before the consultation.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards and secure online transfers.
  • Government insurance (RAMQ) is not currently accepted.

6. Appointment, Cancellation & Refunds

  • Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
  • Cancellations under 24 hours will incur a late fee of $100.
  • No-shows will be charged the full consultation fee.
  • Refunds are not provided for completed consultations.

7. Use of Platform

  • You must ensure you have a stable internet connection and a private space for consultations.
  • You agree not to misuse the platform (e.g., fraudulent bookings, abusive language, illegal activities).
  • You acknowledge that AI technologies may be integrated into our platform to enhance care quality, documentation accuracy, and service efficiency.
  • You agree that AI use is under provider supervision and does not replace the patient-provider relationship.
