1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the HerJoy Télésante website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
- HerJoy Télésanté services are intended for individuals located in Quebec, Canada, at the time of the consultation.
- Patients under 14 years of age must have the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian during virtual consultations, unless otherwise permitted by law.
- Patients aged 14 and older may consent to certain healthcare services independently in accordance with Quebec laws.
- Telehealth services are intended for non-emergency situations only. In case of emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
3. Services Provided
HerJoy Télésante & Services may provide:
- Virtual medical consultations
- Mental health consultations
- ADHD assessments
- Prescription renewals
- Specialist referrals
- Medical forms and medical notes
- Nursing and home care services
- Mental Health counselling and psychotherapy
- Services are delivered by licensed healthcare professionals in accordance with Quebec regulations.
4. Use of AI-Assisted Technologies
- Our practitioners may use approved AI-assisted technologies to support documentation, workflow efficiency, and clinical decision support.
- These technologies are assistive tools only and do not replace professional clinical judgment.
- All diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatment recommendations remain the responsibility of the licensed healthcare provider.
5. Fees and Payment
- Pricing is displayed on our website.
- Payment is required prior to the consultation unless otherwise specified.
- We accept secure electronic payment methods.
- RAMQ coverage is not currently accepted.
6. Appointments, Cancellations & Refunds
- Appointments cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation time may be eligible for a full refund or clinic credit.
- Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation time may be charged up to 50% of the consultation fee.
- Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be charged the full consultation fee.
- Refunds are generally not provided for consultations that have already taken place or where clinical services have been substantially rendered.
- In the event of significant technical difficulties affecting the quality of the virtual consultation, HerJoy Télésanté may, at its discretion, offer a rescheduled appointment or partial clinic credit.
- HerJoy Télésanté reserves the right to reschedule appointments when clinically or operationally necessary.
7. Patient Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Attend consultations from a private and secure location
- Maintain adequate internet connectivity
- Use the platform respectfully and lawfully
- Fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior may result in refusal of service.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control
- Technical failures or internet disruptions
- Delays caused by third-party systems or providers
- Telehealth services may not be appropriate for all medical conditions and do not replace emergency or hospital-based care.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, text, and materials are the property of HerJoy Télésante & Services Inc. and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada.
11. Provider Credentials & Scope of Practice
- HerJoy Télésante services may be provided by licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP/IPSSM), registered nurses, or other regulated healthcare professionals practicing within their professional scope under Quebec law.
- By booking an appointment, the patient acknowledges understanding the credentials and professional designation of the provider assigned to their consultation.
12. Telehealth Limitations
Telehealth services depend on internet connectivity, device compatibility, audio/video quality, and third-party platforms.
Temporary interruptions, delays, reduced audio/video quality, or communication difficulties may occur despite reasonable efforts by HerJoy Télésante.
Patients are responsible for ensuring they have:
- A stable internet connection;
- A functioning device with audio/video capability;
- A private and appropriate environment for the consultation.
- Patients must immediately notify the practitioner if technical issues interfere with the consultation.
13. Intake Forms & Documentation
- Patients may be required to complete intake forms, questionnaires, or consent documentation before or after booking.
- Failure to complete forms before the consultation does not automatically prevent the appointment from proceeding and does not entitle the patient to a refund once the consultation has commenced.
14. Consultation Commencement
- A consultation is considered commenced once the patient and healthcare provider begin any clinical interaction, including review of symptoms, medical history, assessments, screening questionnaires, treatment discussion, or clinical recommendations.
- Once a consultation has commenced, professional fees become earned and are generally non-refundable.
15. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
- By booking an appointment, the patient agrees not to initiate unjustified payment disputes or chargebacks for services already rendered.
- In the event of a payment dispute, HerJoy Télésante reserves the right to provide booking confirmations, consent forms, email communications, timestamps, platform logs, and clinical documentation to payment processors or financial institutions as evidence that services were rendered.
